(4) Avast Antispam: Avast Antispam is a module that is designed to protect users against unwanted emails (spam). You can configure Avast Antivirus to ignore programs and websites that you know are safe by adding them to an exclusions list. Avast Antivirus does not identify items in the exclusions list as threats. Therefore, you must be absolutely sure that the items you add to the exclusion list are safe because Avast Antivirus will not scan them.
Avast Security for Mac Premium is a decent antivirus program that detects both Mac and Windows internet threats. It scans mobile devices when connected to your computer through a USB port, and it warns you before you access malicious websites.
While it is generally not recommended, you may want to exclude certain files or websites from scanning to speed up your scans or to avoid false positive detections.
Another new addition is the improved Wi-Fi Inspector, formerly known as Avast Home Network Security. 2018 is primarily a refreshed version of the cyber criminal antivirus scanner Cyber Capture, which deals with detecting and analyzing suspicious code in real-time – the captured files go to the virtual environment in which their behavior is tested and the behavior data passed to Avast Threat Labs. It is accompanied by a new defense mechanism Behavior Shield, which analyzes the behavior of processes on the user’s computer. Focused primarily on ransomware-specific activity detection, key loggers and other spyware, it protects against unknown threats that exploit 0-day vulnerabilities. Free antivirus for macbook pro.
